How to put an integration in test mode

This guide explains test mode on an integration in Aragorn AI—running the full integration pipeline without delivering data to the vendor.

What is test mode?

Test mode runs mapping, transformation, and report generation exactly as in production, but does not send output to the vendor.

Use it to verify files or payloads look correct before enabling live delivery.

Enable test mode

  1. Log in to your Aragorn AI account.

  2. Open Integrations

  3. Select your integration.

  4. Turn Test mode ON.

  5. Run the integration.

  6. Inspect the generated report or output in the integration job view.

  7. When satisfied, turn Test mode OFF and enable auto-run for production.

Test mode behavior

  • Test mode ON + Run now — generates output; does not deliver to the vendor

  • Test mode OFF + Run now — delivers to the vendor

  • Test mode ON + auto-run on schedule — runs the pipeline without vendor delivery

  • Test mode OFF + auto-run on schedule — delivers on schedule |

Recommended workflow

  1. Complete configuration (eligibility, mapping, connection).

  2. Enable test mode and run manually.

  3. Review output in job history.

  4. Disable test mode.

  5. Enable auto-run or run live manually.
