Notifications allow you to automatically inform your teammates when a data sync event occurs. This helps keep everyone updated on the status of integrations and ensures that necessary actions can be taken promptly.
Log in to your Aragorn account and navigate to the Data Projects section by clicking the Projects icon in the left sidebar.
From the list of available projects, click on the one where you want to set up a notification.
Click the notification bell icon in the top-right corner of the project view.
This will open the notifications section for the selected project.
Click the Create Notification button to set up a new notification rule.
Enter notification details
Notification type: Select how you want to receive notifications, such as email.
Notification name: Provide a clear and descriptive name for the notification (e.g., Data Sync Notification).
Notification description: Add a brief message explaining the purpose of the notification.
Select events to listen to: Choose the specific data sync events that should trigger the notification, such as on_success and on_error.
Add recipients: Enter the email addresses of the users who should receive the notification. You can add multiple recipients as needed.
Click the Create Notification button to save your settings.
Once saved, the notification will appear in the project notifications list.
You can create multiple notifications for different events and recipients.
Click the edit icon next to an existing notification to update its details.
Click the delete icon to remove a notification if it is no longer needed.
