What this covers
Each data project contains a source (HRIS connection). Setting an import schedule is one of four steps to fully configure a source for integrations:
Map source columns to standardized fields
Filter records (optional)
Enrich with supplementary data (optional)
Schedule automatic HRIS imports (this guide)
The import schedule on that source controls how often Aragorn AI syncs HRIS data through the project pipeline:
Project source (scheduled import) → Filter → Enrichment → Final dataset
Integrations read from the final dataset—not directly from the HRIS.
Set a schedule on a project source
Log in to your Aragorn AI account.
Open Data Projects and select the project.
Go to the source / connection area.
Open Import schedule.
Configure:
Frequency — daily, weekly, or monthly
Time — when the import should run
Timezone — timezone for the scheduled time
Save the schedule.
In the sync pipeline overview, verify auto sync is enabled for the source.
What gets updated
On each scheduled run, Aragorn AI checks your HRIS for changes since the last sync and updates project data (for example, salary changes, new hires, terminations).
Manual vs scheduled sync
Action | When to use |
Scheduled import | Ongoing HRIS change detection |
Sync new updates | First import, urgent refresh, or after HRIS schema changes |
Reprocess last sync | Configuration-only changes in Aragorn AI (no new HRIS pull) |
