Two parts of auto sync
Auto sync for enrichment involves:
Supplementary project import schedule — keeps HRIS lookup data fresh
Enrichment auto-run on the main project — processes enrichment as part of the pipeline
1. Auto sync the supplementary project
The enrichment-type project has its own HRIS source. Put it on an import schedule.
Steps
Log in to your Aragorn AI account.
Open Data Projects and select the supplementary (enrichment-type) project.
Go to source → Import schedule.
Set frequency (daily, weekly, or monthly), time, and timezone.
Save and confirm auto sync is enabled in the sync pipeline view.
Most organizations use daily imports. Aragorn AI polls the HRIS on schedule—even when nothing changed, the check completes safely.
2. Enable enrichment auto sync on the main project
The sync pipeline on your integration project shows:
Whether the primary source is on auto sync
Whether enrichment steps are on auto
When enrichment auto sync is enabled, enrichment runs automatically as part of the project pipeline instead of requiring manual reprocess after each upstream change.
Steps
Open the main integration project that uses enrichment.
Open the sync pipeline overview.
Enable auto sync for enrichment step(s).
Ensure the supplementary project’s import schedule is also enabled—enrichment depends on current lookup data.
Recommended setup
Layer | Setting |
Supplementary project source | Daily import schedule + auto sync on |
Main project source | Import schedule + auto sync on |
Main project enrichment | Auto sync on in sync pipeline |
When manual sync is still needed
First-time setup before schedules run
After major enrichment or mapping changes (one-time Reprocess last sync)
