How to provide integration connection credentials

This guide explains how to configure the connection step on an integration in Aragorn AI—supplying credentials and delivery details so Aragorn AI can send data to your vendor.

What is the connection step?

The connection step (final step for standard integrations) is where you authenticate outbound delivery. Every vendor system requires credentials or a delivery path before Aragorn AI can send data.

Example: Carta requires files on an SFTP server. You provide SFTP host, path, and login credentials so Aragorn AI can drop the file where Carta picks it up.

Prerequisites

  • Vendor specification document (delivery method, credentials, file format expectations)

  • Credentials issued by your vendor or IT team

Configure connection credentials

  1. Log in to your Aragorn AI account.

  2. Open Integrations.

  3. Select your integration.

  4. Go to the Connection step.

  5. Select the delivery method your vendor requires (for example, SFTP, API, or vendor-specific connector).

  6. Enter the credentials your vendor provided—for example:

    • SFTP host, username, password or key

    • API keys or client secrets

    • Tenant or company identifiers

  7. Save the connection configuration.

  8. Run a test or manual run to confirm delivery works.

File feed integrations

For custom file feed integrations, you choose the delivery destination during creation (SFTP, SharePoint, email, S3, and similar). Connection credentials are typically entered in the connection step or during that wizard—follow the vendor document.
