How to use data from multiple projects in an integration

This guide explains multi-project integrations in Aragorn AI—combining data from more than one data project before sending it to a vendor.

When to use multi-project

A standard integration reads from one data project. Use multi-project when employee data is split across systems but one vendor needs a single combined report.

Example:

  • US and Canada employees live in a Workday project

  • International contractors live in a separate Deal project

  • A payroll integration must send all global employees in one file

Multi-project tells Aragorn AI to read each project, combine the records, transform them, and send one outbound report.

Configure multi-project

During custom integration creation

When creating a file feed or taskflow integration:

  1. At the how many projects step, choose multi-project.

  2. Select each project that contributes data.

  3. Complete eligibility, mapping, and connection as usual.

Mapping and eligibility

  • Configure eligibility and mapping after projects are linked.

  • Ensure standardized fields are consistent across projects so mapping applies to combined data.
