What is a taskflow integration?
A standard integration sends a data report out to a vendor. A taskflow integration processes each record through an automated workflow inside Aragorn AI—for example, create a Google account, email the manager, and schedule an onboarding calendar event when a new hire appears in your project.
Taskflow integrations have five configuration steps on the integration (the same first four as other integrations, plus a taskflow step).
Create a taskflow integration
1. Start custom integration setup
Log in to your Aragorn AI account.
Go to Integrations
Click Create Integration

Choose Set up a custom integration.
Select Build an automated workflow (taskflow).
2. Configure data source scope
Similar to file feed setup, specify:
Single project or multi-project data source
Whether to process every record each run or only when records change
Taskflow setup does not ask where to deliver a file—the destination is the workflow itself.
3. Initialize the taskflow
After creation, open the integration. Before configuration options appear:
Click Initialize the taskflow for this integration.
This step exists only for taskflow integrations.
4. Complete integration steps
Data source — Select the project
Eligibility — Filter which records enter this integration
Groups — (If supported for your setup)
Map data to transform — Prepare record fields the workflow uses
Taskflow — Build the workflow (see How to build a taskflow in an integration)
5. Build the workflow
See How to build a taskflow in an integration for step-by-step instructions on naming the flow, adding activities (for example, Create User, Send Email, Create Calendar event), and connecting them in sequence.
When an integration job completes for each record in the data report, Aragorn AI runs that record through this flow.
